Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how URNI ("URNI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the URNI mobile application and related services.
URNI is a motorcycle riding and community platform that provides features including ride tracking, navigation, group riding, rider profiles, events, ride history, leaderboards, and community interactions.
By using URNI, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, URNI may collect the following categories of information.
1.1 Account and Authentication Information
When you create or use an URNI account, we may collect information associated with your account, such as:
- Email address
- User account identifier
- Display name or username
- Authentication information required to maintain your account
- Profile information that you choose to provide
Authentication and account management may be provided through third-party services such as Firebase Authentication.
1.2 Profile Information
You may choose to add information to your URNI profile, including:
- Profile name
- Profile photo
- Motorcycle-related information
- Riding statistics
- Other profile information you voluntarily provide
Profile information may be displayed to other URNI users when you use community, rider, leaderboard, event, or social features.
1.3 Profile Photos
If you choose to upload a profile photo, URNI processes and stores that image so it can be displayed on your profile and in relevant areas of the application, such as rider lists, community features, group rides, leaderboards, or other profile-related interfaces.
Profile images may be stored using third-party image storage or delivery infrastructure, such as ImageKit.
1.4 Motorcycle, Fuel, and Maintenance Data
If you utilize URNI's motorcycle management features, you may voluntarily provide information about your vehicles. This can include motorcycle details, fuel purchases, fuel costs, liters, odometer readings, fuel economy, maintenance records, service dates, and maintenance-related mileage.
2. Location Information
Location information is an important part of URNI's motorcycle riding functionality. When you grant location permission and use features that require location, URNI may collect location information such as:
- GPS coordinates and route information
- Distance travelled and ride duration
- Speed-related ride information (including moving time, current, and maximum speed)
- Altitude and heading or direction
- Ride timestamps and other information calculated from your location during a ride
Location information is used to provide features such as:
- Solo Ride Tracking: Location is used to record the user's ride and associated route, history, and statistics for personal reference.
- Group Riding: During an active group ride, relevant live location, telemetry, and route information may be shared in real time with other participating riders in that specific group to coordinate the ride.
URNI only accesses location according to the permissions granted by you and the functionality you use. You can control location permissions through your device's operating-system settings. Disabling location access may prevent certain URNI features from functioning.
3. Ride and Route Data
When you record a ride, URNI may process information associated with that ride, including:
- Start and end location
- Route travelled
- Distance
- Ride duration
- Moving time
- Speed
- Maximum speed
- Altitude
- Direction or heading
- Other ride statistics calculated from recorded data
This information is used to provide ride tracking, ride history, statistics, leaderboards, and related motorcycle riding features. Where appropriate, ride information may be associated with your URNI account so that you can access your riding history across supported devices.
4. Group Riding Information
URNI provides real-time group riding functionality. When you join a group ride, certain information may be shared with other participants in that group, including:
- Your display name
- Your profile photo, where applicable
- Your current or recent riding location
- Your route
- Ride-related information
- Your selected group-riding signals
Group riding information is used to help riders see and coordinate with other members of the same ride. For example, URNI may allow riders to communicate simple ride-status signals such as:
- Need Fuel
- Need Break
- Hungry
- Stop
- Bike Issue
- Slow Down
These signals are intended to facilitate coordination between riders during an active group ride. Please note that the social blocking system and live group-riding telemetry currently operate independently.
5. Community, Social, and Safety Information
URNI includes community and social features that allow riders to interact with one another. Depending on the features available in your version of URNI, information you provide or generate through these features may include:
- Follow relationships
- Messages or social interactions
- Likes
- Comments
- Public ride information
- Community activity
- Event participation
- Public rider statistics
- Leaderboard information
User Safety and Moderation: To maintain platform integrity and safety, URNI allows users to block other riders and report users, posts, comments, or other inappropriate content. Information associated with these safety reports is processed for reviewing reports, enforcing community rules, preventing abuse, and protecting users.
Information that you choose to make visible through community features may be visible to other URNI users. Please do not post or share information that you do not want other users to see.
6. Events
URNI may allow users to create or join motorcycle riding events. Event information may include:
- Event name or description
- Date and time
- Starting location
- Destination
- Event organizer information
- Participants or members who join the event
Information associated with public or group events may be visible to other URNI users depending on the event's functionality and visibility settings.
7. Leaderboards and Riding Statistics
URNI may use ride-related information to calculate and display statistics and leaderboards. Examples may include:
- Total distance travelled
- Ride counts
- Ride duration
- Other riding statistics
Where leaderboards are provided, relevant statistics may be associated with your profile or display name and shown to other users.

Real-time group information is associated with the relevant group or ride and is intended to support the active group-riding functionality.
11. Data Storage, Synchronization, and Security

Certain information (such as profile information, ride records, community interactions, and statistics) may be synchronized with URNI's cloud infrastructure to provide cross-device functionality and account backup.

We use appropriate security practices for the systems we control and rely on security measures provided by our infrastructure providers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Certain information may need to be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. When information is no longer required for these purposes, we may delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
13. Your Data & Deletion Rights
Full Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your URNI account and associated personal data. Requests submitted through our public deletion webpage are prepared as an email to URNI support and must be sent manually by you from your configured email application.
Account deletion involves the removal of your user account and associated personal data from the systems where it is stored. Our deletion procedures account for related records and associated subcollections (such as ride history, statistics, and social content) where applicable. URNI may rely on third-party services and infrastructure to operate certain features. These services may include, depending on the current version of the application:
- Firebase
- ImageKit
- Cloud infrastructure providers
- Mapping or navigation service providers
Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of relevant third-party providers.

Active ride tracking may continue while the app is running in the background if you have granted the required operating system permissions. Location permissions are controlled through your device's operating system, and some features will not work if location permissions are denied.
